This place is incredible! The photos don’t do it justice – the serenity & beauty of the grounds and the house (we stayed in Gray Hawk) have to be experienced personally. And the staff are AMAZING – every single time they went out of their way to be helpful & friendly. Honestly? I’d rather spend a week at the Barothy Lodge than the Bahamas or Mexico – it’s that great. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 

This is an absolutely beautiful place!! We went with our family from Berlin. The staff was great! The Lodge was amazing! The scenery was magnificent! We had such a wonderful time. We saw lots of deer, frogs, a racoon, turtles, bald eagle, muskrat, bats, birds, snakes, turkeys, geese… a wildlife haven! The Lodge was plenty big for the 11 of us. Lots of space. Everything was clean and well maintained. You will not find a better place to stay in Michigan. Every person in our group was very impressed and I was the hero for finding this magnificent place!  ★ ★ ★ ★ ★

We loved the short time we were there. Should have stayed longer. We booked more time for next year. Beautiful wildlife, great trails, river is outstanding!! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★
